    That's the Failed State designation that has appeared on global maps since the late 1990s.

    Once it is established, the US is required to pour trillions and blood.

    Aren't you paying attention to the new rules?

    What designation? I can't find any designation of South Sudan, not even its Northern border...

    This is a thematic map overlaid on a geophysical map.

    The quickie illustrator just popped on the outlines for the areas shown and filled them with colors.

    Personally, I found the FAIL thing more interesting.

    OK. Truth in map illustrations.

    The White Nile should be a white line, Blue Nile a Blue Line, Red Sea in Red, Etc...
