The Baghdad Mosquito was a great product, so no doubt you have some great source material and I like your approach of looking at the war through Iraqi eyes. Should be a good read.
Hi, all! I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm doing a shameless plug for my new ebook, "Tales From The Tigris." It's about my first year in Iraq when I ran the Baghdad Mosquito, the Coalition's OSINT product (google Baghdad Mosquito if you're not familiar with it). Anyways, the book is more than a "There I was" book as each chapter is a short story about a particular event and much of it concentrates on my Iraqi translators and provides their perspective.
You can find it at the link below. Let me know what you think and thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Thanks, Bill! I've gotten good feedback so far. It's more of an anecdotal book but Iraqis and Americans I know who were there say it brought back a lot of good memories...those who weren't there said they learned a lot.
Feel free to hit me up with any feedback you have!

NYT article about The Baghdad Mosquito.
"We fight, get beat, rise, and fight again." Gen. Nathanael Greene
Carl,
You missed the opening sentence in the last paragraph of the NYT story, which is a classic:One of its main findings was that many of the document's sharpest critics appeared not to have read it...

Hi Bill,
I just wanted to second Bill Moore's comment on the Baghdad Mosquito. It, along with some other ad hoc outlets, helped me learn my job and immerse into Iraq during my tours.
I can't speak highly enough about it. Good luck with the book sells.

Guys, thanks again for the support!
I remember the day Thom Shanker came and did his research for the article. I'm still in touch with him to this day. The ramifications of that article are talked about in the book, especially how they led to an interesting April Fool's Day.
My favorite part about that year was creating the rumor mill, aka "What's the Word on the Streets of Baghdad?"
Thanks for the good vibes, gents!

Over 400 views and just a few sales...thanks to those who bought it! I obviously have to get better at marketing! HA!
I just wanted to say thanks to all who bought the book so far. We were the #3 book on the Iraq War on Kindle's New Releases for the month of May. Thanks so much for your help!
Update. Book sales have been good. The book has received 10 reviews on Amazon and I'm working on a book cover right now.
Below is a review that a book club did on the book:
