Just when you think Russia cannot get any stranger THEN this happens---

The RU Consumer Protection S'ty warned that due to this view (of #Crimea as occupied), some countries might deny Russians Schengen visas.

Russian Consumer Protection Society issued a note stating some countries consider #Crimea to be occupied.

But maybe Russia just felt like closing down the Consumer Protection Society anyway. Why should consumers have rights? Why should anyone?

The police are pressing criminal charges against the rights group, saying its warning was an act against Russian territorial sovereignty.
