    You could at least try to imagine the hypothetic world where Russian state and society consider Crimea Russian territory ant take any assault on Crimea as declaration of war. If you somehow managed to imagine this - congratulations - you are now much closer to reality.

    hint: verify your believes by evidence from reality every time you think "Oh, it would be nice if X was true"
