...and yes: after withdrawing from Azaz pocket, the JAN withdrew from battlefields of NE Lattakia and western Idilib too.

For all practical purposes - AND IN THE REAL WORLD (the one countered by all possible delusions flying around the internet) - neither Assadists, nor Russians, and even less so the IRGC, BPM, SSNP, Hezbollah and consorts now have an excuse to claim they're 'attacking JAN terrorists there'.

Of course, this is not the least a reason why they should stop attacking - and especially not for them to stop bombing civilians.

That all said, one question remains: if the JAN is withdrawing from so many battlefields... where to hell are they going instead?

Nah, instead regime-fans are hysterically cheering them for flying '200 air strikes against Daesh in Khan Nassir' on 23 and 24 February, and whoever one can declares Russian air strikes for 'decisive'.

Actually, it's not only so the VKS says it flew 62 air strikes on the second of these two days, supposedly hitting '167 terrorist targets'. But video and photographic evidence is showing that nearly half of these was dedicated to exterminating - or forcing to flee - whatever civilians were left in FSyA-held places like Douma, Darayya, Dera', Hama, Homs, Idlib and Aleppo.

Furthermore, 'precisely because' the Russians bombed the Daesh so much I guess, yesterday afternoon the Daesh launched another attack against the Khan Nassir - Ithriya road: this time about 20km further south from the first one, via Jebel Shabeth on al-Mugharah.

Result: Iranians, Ba'athists and Palestinians (aka 'regime', indeed 'SAA') are meanwhile in control of Khan Nassir again, no doubt - but that crucial road is now cut off in two different sectors...

In some aspects it is exactly the German mistake...Putin and his military somehow think that by literally flattening and turning to dust all Arab Sunni towns and villages as well as the major points held by FSA this will reduce the will of the Syrian Arab Sunni to support FSA and they will eventually cave to the Assad and Putin demands........

It did not work against the Brits and if anything it outright failing now in Syria...AND if anything it is forcing the EU to realize that to end the refugee flows is to finally end Russian bombing BUT EU politicians and Obama have not figured out that piece of logic yet.............

In some way the Islamic religion gives the Arab Sunni a certain stubbornness to resist just about anything and still fight......the West and Obama have failed to realize the FSA/HNC is really fighting for a flag and a Sunni nation state and that can take you a really long long way against a determined shia opponent who wants this to be a to the death sectarian fight to revenge the 1980-1988 Iraq war.

FSA has taken an almost six month massive RuAF beating and faced a major transnational shia jihadist army and yet continues to hold out/fight well and take back lost ground ...that will be someday an interesting history book to write....

In some ways behind all the Assad, Putin and Iranian chatter about they are really winning....the six month air and Shia ground campaign really does not show much in the way of major gains overall......

AND we still have not heard the last from the Turks or the Saudi's.....which I believe does in fact bother the Russians....
