Very mature. Wasn't it Putin who seemed so eager to cooperate in some areas even if there were disagreements on others? Yet he has a whole of government approach to apprising the rest of the world that he is dissatisfied with Russia's place in the world and with the sanctions.

One cannot even be sure if Russian athletes or fans are not part of some plot to disrupt international sports competitions...

We are well and truly back to the Cold War. Hopefully unarmed NATO reconnaissance aircraft aren't shot down over international waters...
Azor...thanks for posting this...saw it yesterday and did not know if it fit here but in fact it does.....

It points to two things.....either Putin sanctioned it and or Putin has lost control over his security apparatus....being former KGB...he has not lost control by any means....

IMO we are already deep in a Cold War 2.0 ....and thus my concern that the constant threats of war out of Moscow political circles and MoD are in fact valid and should intently be paid attention to.....especially their tactical nuke threats tied to the de escalation first strike rhetoric.....
