To clarify, Ahrar al-Sham refused to attend #Astana because:

1) Ceasefire failure & attacks on #WadiBarada
2) Russia jets still bombing
3) Military dynamics governing the conference
4) To prevent internal opposition conflicts & to avoid isolating factions not going, incl. JFS

Intriguingly, Ahrar al-Sham says that its decision not to go to #Astana “could be wrong” & that “we support” all those who are going.

Latakia: Rebel snipers have killed 2 pro-#Assad forces on #Turkmen_Mountain in Northern #Latakia today.

First report about a deadly rebel attack against the regime in Latakia since a while.
