Gas prices are the lowest in the U.S. in over ten years! I would like to see them go even lower.
What is the "narrative" that he is trying to create..."see I as President have been in a short period able to lower your personal gase price to level never seen in the last ten years"....REMEMBER he keeps repeating over and over "I have achieved far more in a short period than any other President"...meant here is Obama....THUS Trump tweets like this are designed to re-enforce that "narrative".....
When "fake" is being used...the user attempts to use a tad bit of "truth"..in this case current gas prices to establish the tweet as "valid truth"...
The target audience then picks it up and uses it to justify their own world views as it "fits nicely" into that world view...
WHAT is though not told the target audience is actually the missing piece of information that would indicate what they are reading is in fact "fake and or a blatant lie"....
The user of this type of propaganda whether Russian and or Trump counts on the fact that the reader and or target audience will never see the counter balancing "truth"....
THUS we see an "alternative truth" being created and used in the place of straight simple facts that anyone can check and use....
NOW one can see how social media is being used as a form of "weaponized information" by both Russians and Trump......there is no difference between the two.....
