Default Revisiting the DoD Strategic Communications plan for Afghanistan

All,
I'm working on a small project that looks at the viability of DoD's strategic communications plan published in September (available here). Specifically, I'm looking at the coherence of the plan between Western values and local experiences. I am not analyzing the whole memo and its supporting plans, but focusing on the shaping of and communicating key messages to the Afghan people (not gov, allies, enemy, or U.S.) as guided by the plan.

I'm just starting on this project and am looking for specific examples of communications / propaganda directed at the Afghanistani population in this regard.

Any assistance or comments / suggestions is / are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
