Sgt.Peyton Williams of Slapout,Al. was named Marine of the year!!!!!! His home is stated as Wetumpka,Al. because the Guvmint want give us a post office so 1/2 of Slapout is in Wetumpka and 1/2 is in the Deatsville US Postal zip codes. During the ceromony you will here he is a graduate of Holtville High School which is right in the middle of Slapout. So good Marines come from Paris Island but the Marine of the year comes from Slapout,Al. Congratulations Sgt. Williams.

I will post pictures of this years Xmas parade. There is even talk of changing the caution light to a real traffic light we are growing so fast. There going to build a Piggly Wiggly here next year
