Default Conditions in Rwanda and Ghana?

I've been offered the opportunity to travel to either Rwanda (Darfur) or Ghana (Accra) for business for a few weeks. Anyone have a read on what conditions are like there and what I need to look out for?

    Thanks!

    Default Darfur or Accra ?

    Hi 120 !
Do you mean Darfur as in Sudan ? http://www.hrw.org/campaigns/darfur/map.htm
    They are both vacation spots

The choices are slim, and I would have to say Ghana. Other than electrical problems (which are present everywhere in Africa), there's more to see and do vs Darfur, Sudan (unless you like refugees and genocide).

    Regards, Stan

Carl has very good intel if you are indeed going to Rwanda. He's right next door. Those stories however, are much like Darfur, but with gunfire !

####. When I saw the job announcement, and it said Rwanda, with duty in Darfur, I thought they were talking about one place.

Very interesting. But, as Forrest Gump says, that's all I've got to say about that....

You know, it might just be that way.
You start with a quickie 'post genocide' course in Rwanda, then off to Darfur for the current ops

I suspect it is a training slot with the RPA contingent in Darfur--I have been to Darfur--think hot and then turn up the flame.
