Trump predicts breakup of EU, says Europeans will need visas, and offers Russia a deal to lift sanctions. Also attacks Merkel.

AGAIN trump does not know international relations..foreign policy nor international trade....

Requiring EU citizens to have visas to enter the US would be immediately answered by requiring US citizens to have EU visas for all countries visited...WHY the EU grants a US citizen up to 90 days visa free and then that was followed by US side....IF Us removes then EU removes....

Try to convince an American businessman doing export business in say Holland ...then onto Belgium and finally landing in Germany for his return trip he will need THREE separate visas all coupled with visa fees....

AND then ask him if he is going to vote for Trump the next time around????

BY THE WAY...I had posted to this thread that the outgoing US EU ambassador stated that the Trump transition team was sending him questions concerning who was leaving the EU and how long could the EU survive...ALL questions indicated to him that the Trump transition team had a great interest in the EU failing.....

WHY Trump dislike the second largest trading block and he feels it is anti US focused....

Someone needs to point out to Trump that up through the mid to late 70s 96% of all US consumer needs were met by Made in the US...THEN the US suffered a number of recessions and job loses and then the Us turned to export focused business and suddenly jobs were created and now the US exports well these days....

WHY did that occur...because the US consumer just as EU consumers are...totally focused on price and without exports US products were simply to expensive and not well made...make things again in the US and the common man who voted for Trump will see an increase in their cost of living above what they earn in pay raises....that is the effect of global trade these days...
