Done as requested and into the 'Military - Other' thread. If it attracts derision and more I shall say you paid me!

for donkey - left rear kick into Mr Trail's gonads ? Looks like a pretty good target from this armchair.

Cheers - love this thread.

Talking Knowledgable Donkey

Bet the donkey knows it isn't supposed to be carrying the handler's pack in addition to its normal load and is protesting the only way it knows how.

Default Big Deuce

Seth B
Big Deuce is a Ft Sill institution. Our DS used to remind us that the jackass outranked us. Short round too.
While i was there SFC Big Deuce was busted down to SGT because he kicked short round and killed him.

The Marines used donkeys to carry ECM's for dismounted patrol and it worked well.

With the exception of the baby blanket, this prime mover shows real promise and Yankee ingenuity - articulating front end and even has the wheels chocked when parked

Red face

My grandfather served with mules (mountain artillery). A fellow soldier on his last day of service approached "his" mule from behind and kicked it, shouting "This is the last time I have to see you, you bugger". The mule reacted and a well aimed kick shattered his skull.

Never underestimate the hoofs of a strong mule...

CAJ: The Kandahar Light Logistics Platoon
Quote:
Kandahar Province, in Afghanistan, is as diverse as it is beautiful. Its complex terrain ranges from rough mountains to lush vegetation to harsh desert. During my 10 month tour as the G4 for Task Force Kandahar I was amazed daily, not only by how the local population have adapted to this diverse terrain, but how it continued to challenge our ability to operate and support mechanized forces. Afghanistan is truly the ultimate test of our skills and abilities to adapt and overcome the unknown. Tasked with the responsibility for the conduct of logistics in the Province of Kandahar I was each day presented with unique situations requiring unique solutions. The creation of the Kandahar Light Logistics Platoon was undoubtedly the most creative and controversial solution throughout our tour. It certainly generated the most snickers.....

I can't believe no one posted this yet. When Canadian Forces started using donkeys in Afgh last year, they immediately dubbed the officer in charge of the animals ' The Assmaster.'
