Default Para L/Cpl Joshua Leakey VC

Quote:
Yet on what should have been an ordinary patrol, L/Cpl Joshua Leakey’s actions were so extraordinary that he has now won Britain’s highest award for battlefield gallantry.

He has become the first living British soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross during the Afghan campaign and only the 15th to be awarded the medal since the end of the Seccond world War.

The man hugging him is the UK's top soldier, General Nick Carter.

Thanks for sharing, I listened to the video, he was certainly well spoken, somewhat embarrassed to be singled out, and humble. Job well done.

This guy makes me think of Samuel L. Jackson's wallet from the movie "Pulp Fiction". I'm pretty sure it belongs to this L/Cpl.
