Default SWJ Magazine - volume 7

A pre-release version of SWJ Magazine volume 7 is now available. This edition is long over-due. Note that this is a working draft that does not have final edits and formatting. But better to get the good word out as is, than have it all bottled up waiting for me to finish. Will redirect the links once the final version is published.

If you send this to anyone as a link, please use the one to this thread. Copy from your browser, or use:

Volume 6 is still the latest fully published volume. Volumes 1-5 are available in the back issues area.

Any estimate when the final version will be on the cyberstreets?

Probably early next week. And vol 8 will be close on its heels, measured in weeks, not months.

    Default SWJ Magazine, Vol. 7

The initial funding (taken from reprogrammed funds) amounted to only $17 million, which was barely adequate to hire a minimum staff of 37 (out of the desired 80).2
I like where this volume is going (granted, it's my first with you folks).

In retrospect, I have begged for slight sustainment funds to the tune of 135k for a team of 75 (vehicle spares, diving equipment and heavy bomb suits). I did get 50K from EUCOM at the end of the FY for office equipment and IT.

We already beat this one dead somewhere in this forum RE insurgents, etc. So now we want more than 17K to adequately hire a staff of 37

Apologies for not understanding. I got the wrong job

    Default Volume 7 now live

Get it while it's hot. Get the whole magazine here, or link to inidividual articles from the current issue page.

And it won't be another eternity for vol 8, as that's moving right along.
