What a great speech. Everything I read from SecDef Gates only increases my respect for him. What a change. It pains me to imagine how things might be different if he had been SECDEF on 9/11.

I was also extremely proud to see my Brigade featured at the end of the speech - and the tribute to Travis Patriquin.
